Providing safe sleeping places for New York City's newborns in need.
Babies are safest when they sleep by
themselves, on their backs, and in a crib or bassinet. Unfortunately, many New York City families are unaware of
safe sleeping techniques or are unable to afford the gear to provide the safest sleeping environment for their
infants.
To raise awareness of safe sleeping and to provide critically needed equipment, Baby Buggy is conducting The Baby
Buggy Crib Drive - a campaign to supply cribs and bassinets for New York City's newborns in need. Our goal is to
raise funds to provide 3,000 safe sleeping places. By working through select city hospitals, pre-natal programs, and
our social service network, we will distribute the cribs and bassinets to families that need them. Please help us eliminate sleep risk for our City's infants.
We are grateful for your help! * $5.00 for each crib and bassinet donated will be used from your donation to help cover the cost of delivering these items to the hospitals.
